Angels and Senior Citizens.

old go where others fear to tread...

This might be a cinema. (editorial note x)

It may indeed be.

And they may be laying that red carpet just for you.

I don’t know about that but there was an old geezer in there, got a senior citizen ticket and he forgot his glasses case on the floor of the bar. One of the ushers brought it in for him.

How do you know this?

I talked to him.

What did he say?

He said it was the first time ever that he had done something that identified him as a senior citizen. He said he hated it.

It might have been cheaper though.

Still he hated it and he hated that he didn’t even have to PROVE that he was senior.

What about the film? Did he hate that?

No he loved it; we had a long chat over a glass of Rioja. He loved the film's black and white and he  particularly liked the way the curtains in front of the screen were closed before the film began; just like the good old days.

Your words, or his?

His.

What was the film?

Only Angels have Wings.

Only Angels have Wine too.
