Two Trees. (thix)

no, and no

The first tree stands alone in the middle of a field.

The field is green.

It has been raining a lot these last two months, so the green is one that gets noticed.

Noticeable green.

The tree is a cherry tree.

It’s springtime, by some accounts, so the cherry tree is in blossom.

It has been a wet start to spring, so the blossom is rich.

Affluent blossom.

The second tree finds itself in the middle of a roundabout.

It did not choose to be here.

Some daffodils keep it company.

But the tree is an olive tree; it doesn’t deserve to be here.

It considers the spring to be cold.

Un-deserving cold.
