Goodbye x

"it was about eleven o'clock in the morning, mid-October, with the sun not shining and a look of hard wet rain in the clearness of the foothills."

My cat died.

I know.

I had to bury her.

I know.

You are not going to believe this Mary but her name was ..... LaLa.
She was named by Minnie when Minnie was 3 and LaLa started being her teddy bear.
She had been watching Teletubbies.
All that a loooooong time ago....

Thank you Mary, i have just come back from the grave to make sure all is well(that ends well) there are two daffodils in flower and wild cowslips and i heard the first cuckoo.
Are you still covered in snow?

I hate to be a killjoy but just endured the worst winter in 82 years, that is to say, the worst winter since they have been keeping records of such things.

Since I moved into the new house, it has snowed everyday except maybe 6 days. Temps hit minus 31 a few times [resulting in one frozen pipe each time]. Lake Erie (one of the Great Ones) was 80% frozen over.

Still very cold but I have survived. Waiting for my first crocus sighting. Though have seen several coyotes and possums [YIKES!]

I'm ready for Spring whenever it is.
