Reminds me of the episode where Christopher Robbin leaves Winnie to attend his first day of school. Winnie thinks Christopher has gone to a place called 'Skule' and Winnie spends a very long, exhausting, and scary day with his little friends looking for Christopher. He never finds him. When Christopher gets back, Winnie realizes that things have changed and will never be the same.
I cried and cried at the end of the story.
