Old Beginnings and New Endings of the year (just passed).

It is a tradition here on Bitsnbobs that, at the business end of January we look back through the previous year and remember three old beginnings and three new endings.

Traditionally we do this today – the eleventh.

It may have something to do with the Bible – “And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?”

Or it may be because the first time we did it, it was January 4^th.

Or because last year we did it in February.

Either way here it is.

Three old beginnings first.

1. A story beginning and ending.

2. A book begun not ended.

3. A never ending began.

Three new endings.

1. The end of a new red stripe. (April 8th)

2. The end of a new bottled dream.

3. The end of where it all began.
