Blue AND Green!

You didn’t get to see the river this Saturday morning at 11; I was the only one there.

You missed the reflection of the blue sky in the rushing waters and you didn’t hear how the water would have sighed with delight, had you slipped into her sparkling caress.

You would have liked the dragonflies – green, and blue; though the names are inadequate in describing the translucent.

Harlequin and Azure.

You would I think, have struggled against the current as it hurried through the channels, but you would have laughed.

We could have drifted together in the deep pools; I wonder what you would have thought about the white cliffs reaching into the morning sky.

You didn’t get to see the river this Saturday morning at 11; I was the only one there.
