This song makes me think of the Waltons' Christmas film The Homecoming. Have you seen it? There#s always someone saying G'night Jim-Bob at some point. Just a very strong association. The Depression era, and whatnot...
I figured it had to be something like that.
But no i haven't seen the film.
Might like to though.
