Countdown 25.

What do you think?

Should “it’s” count as one word or two.

In February’s countdown?

So far I’ve been strict.

- same question for “I’ve”.

Should have my eyes examined. Is it everything and the kitchen sink?

1 word. Otherwise why bother to contract? Though have to say Anne, that I am impressed by the use of 'whazzat' which has contracted 3 words into 1.

Chris -- I found the photo appealing until I enlarged it and discovered it was the remnants from washing up. This reminds me of the photo of walnuts in the Year End Quiz. Sneaky ...

Yes it is the washing up bowl, plus remnants.

Mary the lesson is to go with that first impression and not to get to curious.

As for the contractions, i'm not sure , i might end up abusing it and if Anne can get three words into one i would have to try four.

Then where would it stop?

So i'm using Word's wordcount as the Judge.
