Harry lives in London.
Harry is a jeweller.
He works in the market.
If I visit London he will be there, where
he always is – manning his stand.
London changes every day, Harry its only
constant.
One day, Harry will look around him and say
–“I don’t belong here any more”.
It hasn’t happened yet because, for now, it
is London that looks around and, seeing Harry still there, realises that it
still belongs.
When Harry isn’t there anymore, London will
cease to exist.
