This could be a complete coincidence – and let’s face it, Bitsnbobs is NO stranger to coincidence – but the first time I swim in the sea this year (yesterday!) is the first day of the year when I notice the swallows playing overhead.
It’s summer!

It's a sculpture, here we just see the head, from Spanish artist Jaume Plensa.
It's called Nomade and sits, or at least this one does, on the harbour wall in Antibes.
