While reading the paper yesterday, admist tales of fig roll shortages on the supermarket shelves of Great Britain, Brazilian priests drifting off to sea suspended by 1000 helium filled party baloons and some extremely disturbing happenings in an Austrian cellar i notioced that it was Bill Cottons 80th birthday.
As a young boy our saturday evening family rituals were timed around his wake-up call and although i am now surprised to learn that he wasn't already 80 at the time i want to add my "happy birthday" to the millions he warrants.
