Jeepers, scary that they were part of our cultural heritage. Billy Cotton looks to be borderline psychopathic. The most ironic moment for me is the duet 'What will they do without us?' A pity they cut Spike Milligan out, he appears on the credits of part two.
Up there with the the black and white minstrels I think and best forgotten.
and didn't he go on to become head of light entertainment?
