A Christmas advent (10)

The Philladelphia connection (they know who they are) has been trying to pressurise Bitsnbobs (the blog under pressure) into a spiral of ever increasing excitement when it comes to the selections for this Musical Christmas Advent. (A Musical Christmas Advent is explained here).

Now, let’s be honest – this is like a little kid on Christmas Eve.

You know what will happen – you get more and more excited, you start to go red, then you are sick and you miss the whole thing!

You have to pace yourself.

Expectation needs moments of meditation.

And here it is.

Ok, I admit, I’m stretching the definition of Christmas musical ditty here but hey – did we ever define it?

Oh, by the way, it’s in French – I’m sorry if you don’t speak French, but this is a good reason to start learning.

Here is the first quarter of the lyrics, to help.

And here’s a link to the artist – Grand Corps Malade.

OK, I'll try to contain myself. I'll go and feed the fish.

What a find! I'm always looking for a good way to rebuild my failing French. Has GCM made albums with booklets or audiobooks?
