I saw my first Christmas decorations yesterday.
I found it depressing.
I’m not sure that is the intended response, but…..
The sky was blue, temperatures were about 18c and I had wandered into a shopping centre.
Big mistake.

An odd thing about living in the US - despite a general abundance of commercialism, Christmas seems to start later. It's because shopkeepers generally hold off till the day after Thanksgiving.
And thanks should be given!
