ON the menu OFF the farm

I wouldn’t like to be a donkey.

Who would eh?

All those flies buzzing around your eyes.

I LIKE donkeys though – which is good, ‘cause one turned up in my garden yesterday.

Her name was Pepit – she belongs to my doctor, Jean Michel who was walking alongside.

I said hello, we kissed – me and the doctor that is, I just patted Pepit.

Pepit ignored me anyway, tried to kick me when I patted her and set about eating as much grass as possible.

I wouldn’t like to be a Donkey.

Eating grass.

I would prefer a dollop of clotted cream.

I think donkeys lead a charmed life. You can tell by looking into their soft eyes.
