Self Portrait 17

Last night there was an eclipse of the moon – a total eclipse of the full moon.

Did you watch?

Shadows, light, clarity and darkness.

At one point a chill descended on the evening – insects and nightingale fell silent, the world stopped.

I get eclipsed by things too sometimes.

The world.

Others.

Age.

Emotions.

They overwhelm me.

Undercurrents of darkness.

Contradictions.

I rage too often, it should only be once in a blue moon.

Yes, I agree. Once in a blue moon is often enough to see red.

A pity I didn't see the full moon in the UK last night.

You have a talent for expressing yourself, like a poet.

Regards

Janet
