Blow ye winds and rack thy teeth

There are rumours of snow in the mountains and weather forecasts. Today autumn has been under assault, rain and wind lashing the forests. The edge of the fields are bordered by sweeps of orange and brown where the fallen leaves lay. The tress are naked and exposed.

Around the house mist and wind make me feel adrift in a stone boat, pummelled by waves and spray.
