Do people ever really forget?
Perhaps they choose not to remember, or their recall is faulty, they might even misplace a memory in such a way that retrieval is difficult.
But forget?
Never totally.
There will always be a shadow of something past, or an illuminated reminder of what is always present.
The first kiss.
The last goodbye.
A birthday.
Especially birthdays!
Nothing else could be without a birthday.
A first smile, a first word, a first step.
Someone, somewhere, will remember.
