Digitally Folded.

DL went missing.

No one saw him, he didn’t answer his phone and there was not even a peep on the social networks.

People started to worry.

Alerts were posted, messages sent, a search party discussed.

But the people discussing the search party were all far apart from each other.

At the same time, a political protest encouraged people to switch off from their devices. 

So a couple of more days slipped past. 

The protest was only meant to be for 24 hours but some people involved were confused whether the action started in central European time or Standard Eastern.

But then, suddenly, DL was found.

He hadn’t been anywhere.

His phone had run out of battery and he had lost his charger.

He waited until NoBuy day was finished, on both the eastern seaboard and the Atlas Mountains, and then bought a charger.

Slept.

Charged the next day.

And reconnected the one after.

All is well.

His friends have relaxed and started laughing again.

DL is digitally back in the fold.
