The second day of November it may be – as I write – and the sun might well be strong and clear of purpose in an imposing blue sky – it is – yet the eyes and ears of the hardworking Bitsnbobs editorial boffins – for that is what we are – are eyeing and earing every opportunity to add to the fledgling Thingy that is the Bitsnbobs Christmas Musical Advent Calendar.
And as we squirrel away – and by the way I met two today whilst running across the common – this comes on the radio and we think – ha!
Snow.
That will do!
It was crisp on the common – no frost - but the early morning air - and it was early – reminded me that winter will surely come, Christmas too and with that there will always be a hope – or fear – of
snow.
snow.
Fear if you are one to slip.
Hope if you don’t care.
It had to be early on the common – I am sleeping as if my body understands neither the change in the clocks that have occurred or the movement across borders endured.
Many people walking dogs were also up.
Runners too.
