Room in a Room.

possibly a great void

Let’s get up.

Not yet.

The sun’s shining.

It’s rising, can’t you hear the owl?

So?

Owls are night time, it’s night time, it’s not getting up time.

……

Now?

Ok.

Come on; hurry up!

What’s the rush?

Gotta get to the recycling shop, before the market closes so that we can go to the market either before or after the house on the hill, which we have to get to before or after all of those other things before we have lunch and go dancing.

Hang on, I need a tea.

Here you are. (editorial note F)

Where did that come from?

I made it whilst you were sleeping. Look at that! Can we get it in the car?

Are we here already?

No time to waste.

Where are you going to put it?

In the kitchen.

Where in the kitchen?

If not in the kitchen in Carol’s room. (editorial note t)

There’s no room in Carol’s room.

There will be.

Do we have to ask Carol?

Look! There’s Laura.

She’s fitter than Kittrick (editorial note t), look he’s down the hill still.

He’s carrying strawberries.

They’ve been to the market already.

Don’t worry; we’ll go after.

After the house?

This house.

How did we get here?

I’ve got my torch.

Isn't this where they said the Ghost was?

Ghosts? Voids? Have you lost your way?

Follow the yellow brick road ...

I was translating something and maybe badly... perhaps not void but emptiness.
The ghost remains as is.
