A Christmasy Musical Advent Calendar Thingy 7.

Ok, i admit that the sound quality of today's Christmasy Musical Advent Calendar Thingy here on Bitsnbobs December series of Christmasy Musical advent Calendar Thingies (full details can be found here) is not the best of the best of the best.

So, here are the lyrics.

First light, city streets they are white and pristineWaiting on the tracks of the early machinesThis city's so prettyWhen the snow falls, just at dawn
Hey paper boy, how 'bout themselves? This snow keeps fallin',Think its never gonna meltThis city's so pretty
Got a cup-a-coffee and a Sunday GlobeTable by the window, watch the ploughs in the roadThis city's so pretty
Foreign ships in the nightgood sailors from the seaWalk the streets of dawndown on Beacon StreetThis city's so pretty
They are so far from homeSnow is deep and the road is longSnow is deep and the road is longThey're so far from home
Pass a stranger on the street, he 's way out of sortshe says: Hey, mister, I came up short, you got any change, the Lord loves the giver I believe.Small change to a stranger, change on the street, change to a man who thought he'd never get beat.

Well there's a thousand waysA man in the snow gets lost
They are so far from homeSnow is deep and the road is longSnow is deep and the road is longSo far from home
There's snow upon the ocean, there's snow upon the land.Talk about forgivenessHelp me understandBut I hold on tightI do not let goI walk these streetsI am frozen in...snow
First light, city streets are white and pristineThey're waiting on the tracks of the dirty machinesFirst light, city streets are white and pristinethey are waiting.

You are a tonic for a weary soul.

Thank you.

"Well there's a thousand ways
A man in the snow gets lost

They are so far from home
Snow is deep and the road is long

Talk about forgiveness
Help me understand
But I hold on tight
I do not let go ..."

BnB's a treasure.
