Unlike the other day when I wrote – “Just in case you are wondering where we are with the systematic work through the book ‘Creative Scriptwriter’ (exercises to expand your craft) - which is providing a sub-text in this, the November series in which the post titles are longer than the post content (just to make the blog visually look a bit different than normal) – the answer is “page 12” (not exactly racing ahead then) and the exercise in which you have to write a quick story where the first word begins with ‘a’ and the second ‘b’ etc, etc until you reach ‘z’.” – and we were “live”, THIS post is retrospective (in so much as I have gone back to page 12 when in fact I’m now on page 15 and three more exercises down the line).

Here’s another of these.

A bright Christmas day; Evelyn folded grandma’s hat into Jake’s knapsack, left, made no obvious plans, quietly regretted such timely unhappiness, vanished with xylophone/youth/zebra.

And another.
