A List- of what my mum told me that might be universally useful.

The Good Ship Bitsnbobs (this blog) has been listing dangerously to starboard recently. So, in the spirit of “if you can’t beat them join them up into a list," this month – August - i am listing. This is, sort of, explained here.

1. You can't please everyone so make dam sure you please yourself.

2. If a job's worth doing it's worth doing properly.

3. A place for everything and everything in it's place.

4. All the world's mad except you and me, and even you's a little weird.

5. If you want something hot to eat, put mustard on it.
