I've just sent out an SOS tweet as follows:

"Countdown 6 - Would my PLN like to predict a final word for Bits'n'Bob's writing challenge? http://tinyurl.com/67odbqd - my final word = is"

Hopefully there will be some competition for "the FINAL word"!!

I thought the final word would be 'ONE', but you used it in today's post, so likely not. Then I thought it could be a verb like 'BE', or an affirmative 'YES', or final 'DONE'.

In other words, I don't know.

That's THREE.

Is there a system to this except of course the "shrinking" number of words? Why am I not getting any system signals? If there's no system, though, you'd be led, now wouldn't you? And you love games, so that wouldn't be fun, then, right? Or is the final entry already written, and Janet is gazing into the future?

Anne?

I've got a feeling Anne, that you are looking for something that's not there - i'm just floundering around writing one word less each day hoping for inspiration.

Very early on, first post i think , Janet "predicted" the last word would be "IS" and i've spent most of the month thinking if i could make that the last post and still respect the unwritten law that each individual post should make sense on it's own.

At the same try i tried to integrate an ongoing series of Sunday posts that have their own "rule" that there is a dialogue between me and an other.

And the penultimate post is a Sunday.

In between i tried to add a nod to what is happening in North Africa without really understanding it fully, what is happening up in the sky(ditto) and on the
moon.

And mark valentines day.

So the only question is - how can i make that last post "is" and have it make sense?

Not much of a system i admit but its stuff like this that keeps me going.

How pathetic!

The challenge [and the fun] is in the doing. You never know how it will turn out.

If I had had to write about the kind of February we've been enjoying here in Toronto, it would look something like this:

Snow
Cold
More Snow
Freezing Cold
Still Snow
Shovelling
Bone Chilling Cold
Snowstorm
Windchill -- minus 27
Blizzard
Shovelling
Arctic air mass
Lake effect snow
Icy road conditions
Shovelling
Snowstorm, followed by Blizzard
Emergency Windchill Warning
Don't go out, except to shovel another foot of snow.

'Fabulous' February would be accompanied by pictures of big-flake SNOW, wind-driven sideways SNOW and all hell breaks loose SNOW.

See what I mean about themes.
