Thanks Chris -- nice lead into Valentine's Day celebrations! Not doing much running here, more scurrying, I'd say, from place to place to avoid the minus 24 degree cold. Still those Egyptians have managed to heat things up:-)Mx

Countdown to the End of a Brutal Regime
Mubarek gone --
What took so long?
Egypt free --
Now we shall see.
The protesters showed much
Courage in the Square.
For Eighteen days, I said a solemn prayer.
Keep them safe and families fed.
Hope arrived, as dictactor fled.
80 billion from his people he stole.
A man of big greed and little soul.
Lacking worldly comforts, they lived in poverty,
But HE could never strip them of their dignity
The chance, he asks, to die in his 'beloved' Egypt is his hope
If lucky, in his sleep rather than at the end of a rope.
Celebrate all night, friends, tomorrow's time to rest.
The PEOPLE prevail, and I, from here, wish them the best.
