Turning Leaf

Turning Leaf – a vineyard in California that bottled a Chardonnay White wine in 2009 that I chilled in my fridge and have just opened to lubricate this post.

Turning Leaf – something that has been going on riotously around me these past few weeks,

Around you too probably, wherever you be….

Less you were in a desert or all at sea…….

Another excuse to place an autumn picture here….

Lucky for me I’m not drinking beer!

All the leaves are down, and the sky is grey. Red wine season!

I hope you are enjoying your bottle of Chardonnay.

Sorry I have been a bit absent the past month. I'll be back to regular viewing after Rome next week, then I will have much more time to enjoy my favourite blogs again.

The pictures are lovely, dunno what you're talking about!
Yesterday teh wine was white to go with the onion soup. The day before it was red.

Chris -- what are we looking at in the picture -- is it a canopy that that has been painted with pics of what? A ball, a screwdriver? and a being - animal ... human?

Its a sheet of paper next to the window through which the photo was taken, so i think its a reflection - depicted are a tennis ball, a screwdriver and a coffee pot.

2 out of 3 isn't bad I guess. Except somewhere Freud is stirring in his grave -- couldn't see the coffee pot:-)

i think it was generally agreed, here, that the coffee pot handle was too short.
the camera is almost level with the paper so you did great.
