Total.

(Rupak De Chowdhuri/Reuters)

I'm thinking of adopting this as my flag.

What do you think?

Too sombre?

Or a perfect eclipse of light and dark?

Amazing....so....what was the assignment?
Design a flag?
Write the shortest blog post possible?
Define the word genial?
How to confuse folk?
Whatever, good luck!

It would help if you apended a 200 word interpretative essay. Modern art is not self-explanatory.

Maybe your spambot can help out. BTW, getting spam is a good sign, I'm told. Means your blog is popular! Now, engaging with spam could be a new art form...

He He - it's interesting but not too dangerous at the moment unless i'm missing something.
i thought spam was about selling things (gee i hope it's not trying to sell a translating software!).

Ha! I love the idea engaging with spam as a new art form!
I just went and checked my spam and there didn't seem to be anything remotely this profound - I think Bits n' Bobs is attracting a very high class sort of spammer Chris.

Re the flag Chris, it’s perfect. Balanced, earthy colours, restful, not fussy, simple and understated, and very easy on the eye

Vicki i love your analysis of the flag, you have confirmed my feeling that it is ideal for me.
interestingly you use the word "earthy".
Interesting because, and maybe i should have said this, it is a photo of the recent total eclipse of the sun seen from India.
