Surprise

I just finished reading my first book this year, Freakonomics by Steve Levitt and Stephen Dubner.

A good read that i picked up in a book shop as i passed through Amsterdam airport, and had always thought looked interesting since the first time i saw it in a bookshop passing through Stanstead Airport.

This is a reprinted version in one of the special colour coded series from Penguin; Light Blue for big ideas, Green for mystery, Pink for distant lands etc. I wonder how penguin chose those colours?

Here is a quote that i found on page 217 that i like, but don't know what to do with yet. So i've posted it here.

"See data analysis as an "opportunity to confront a surprise".

It's the combination of confront/surprise that i like and makes me think about what i tried to express with snow in yesterdays post.

Here's a photo of where we camped.
