Another Fine Mess.

Very recently someone left this in the comments.

“Aha!”

Accusatory I think you will agree.

They went further.

“We now know that BnB’s was fuelled by alcohol and chocolate!”

(Actually, they didn’t add another exclamation mark, I’ve included one for emphasis but you can feel that they were thinking it right?)

It’s outrageous, how could they say such a thing, the only stimulant used on Bitsnbobs – the Blog running on half-empty - is hapless romanticism!!

And exclamation marks!!!

Although, just for a minute, I wondered if they were referring to BnB’s as in Bed and Breakfast i then  dismissed the notion and thought….

……well…. HAVE we written about being drunk on this blog yet?

Let’s face it - we have written about a LOT of other things!

Nothing is taboo here on Bitsnblogs – the blog with none!

If we, whoever they are, did it would probably go like this …

....because tonight might be a good moment – I’m halgf, er half, way thooooo a bottttle of , hng on, let’s look – Gran Corpas!!!

So, first things first – get drunk and listen to Van Morrison singing Streets Of Arklow.

Then go and get yourself to rural France at the end of April somewhere near water, river or better lake (still drunk) lie in the grass of an evening and listen to the frogs.

Now, where were we?

Lying in a field listening to frogs?

Gran Corpas?

Spanish!

Te Quiero, there’s some!

It’s a beautiful bottle – green, three-quarters empty, the label is faded yeollow (yellow), the lettering is classical, Don Juanish – can you say that? – there’s a thingy, coat of arms that’s it!

Hmmm…

Might as well finish it…

There is a great sketch, performed by Cid Cesar on The Show of Shows so long ago that most people are unaware that it ever happened – here it si (is) on you Tube – where,,, well watch it for yourself. (sorry, even sober I couldn’t find it but drop round sometime and I’ll show you it on magnetic recording tape, it’s brilliant, a short mime piece in which he goes from jolly to angry in a few gestures – the editor)

So, I’ve got to thst, that point – wher I’m a bit grumpy and can’t spell anymore.

Now!

The coat of arms!

Crown at the top – that’s easy, two lions on each side (hmmm – not the Lion and the Unicorn then), shiled, er shield in the middle divided into four parts.

Another Lion top right, and – why am I telling you this?

Why are you reading?

ARE you reading?

When one is drunk, one thinks one is with everyone, yet one is surely alone.

And one says one a lot!

I’m done…

I can’t finish it…
