Say Fromage(part two)

continued from yesterday

Train stations on a strike day, cathedrals and the comment’s box of this blog can have many things in common.

And it’s not candles.

It was VERY quiet at the station; a small group of people stood defiantly on the platform but most of those waiting were staring at the departure board that mainly informed them of the option to take a bus.

Outside on the streets the rubbish was beginning to rise, the refuse collectors are on strike too. It may be a coincidence, but the predominant colour of the bin bags is black – a colour that matches the uniforms of the CRS police who are also increasingly visible.

Also waiting.

Staring at an imaginary departure board of potential trouble.

The sky, though, was blue and the windows in the street cast peaceful reflections on the pink brick of the city where I wandered.

to be continued
